Book Challenges

Since I'm doing so much reading anyway, I thought I'd try to sign up for a couple of book challenges.  Book challenges are a fun way to connect with other people who are reading similar things, and get ideas about great new books that are out.  If that sounds like fun, you should join too!  If you do, I'd love to hear your reviews.  You can email them to me, or leave them in the comments below.  Here are the ones I'm joining:

Check out the books I've read so far.

What is dystopian? (Examples: The Hunger Games, Uglies, The Host)
dystopia (from the Ancient Greek δυσ-: bad-, ill- and τόπος: place, landscape) (alternatively, cacotopia,[1], or anti-utopia) is a vision, of an often futuristic society, which has developed into a negative version of Utopia. A dystopia is often characterized by an authoritarian or totalitarian form of government. It often features different kinds of repressive social control systems, a lack or total absence of individual freedoms and expressions and a state of constant warfare or violence.

The Tenners are a group of authors who have debut YA books coming out in 2010.  Check them out!
