Jackson Pearce on Guys and Poop (or our unrealistic expectations of guys)

I just had to post this because it is SO true!  After reading Twilight my husband could do nothing right.  I just kept thinking.....Edward would never do that!  So, are all these perfect guys in YA lit hurting our real life relationships or expectations of how guys should act?  What do you think?

p.s. I really wish I knew how to make the video stay in the lines......

  1. I have to say that it is my opinion that books can have an impact on our expectations of the real men in our lives. And, normally the real guys get the short end of the stick because they are....real. There's no way that a real guy can live up to the creation of someone's imagination and honestly they would probably be pretty one-dimensional. After reading lots of romances in my life I would recommend that all readers remember that a real life guy is a lot better than a fictional one.

  2. Well said Janeth, I was gonna respond but you said everything I was about to say... only better! Although, I still pray that a Mr. Darcy comes out in my husband one of these days.
I can't stand the chick in the video, she is just wanting to be punched in the jaw, I can feel it!

  3. I actually like her. I think her videos are hilarious! And she's dead-on with this one! Amy, you just don't like anyone who's as opinionated as you are....haha!
