(If you've been here before, scroll down for this week's challenge in red)

Welcome to Second Hand Saturday!! In an attempt to clear our bookshelves, and pass on great used books to our stalkers followers, Amy, Kit, Abigaile, Austin and I have decided to hold weekly giveaways of some of the books on our bookshelves! Every Saturday, we will post the books available, and the following Saturday, we will announce the winner and our next challenge. The winner will get to choose a book from the list and we will ship it to that lucky person! Each week we will have a different challenge to complete (see below). YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER TO ENTER!  Open Internationally.  Ends at 10:00 pm EST the following Friday!

If you are a blogger, and would like to do your own Second Hand Saturday, shoot us an email and we'll link up!  (ReadingTeen1 at gmail.com)

To see the book on Amazon, click the book name. To see our review (if we've done one) click on PBR for the Parental Book Reviews content review, or RT for the Reading Teen blog review. Good luck!!

Sophia Lee said...

I'm getting SO impatient for... MOCKINGJAY by Suzanne Collins!

I started the series this year and honestly COULD NOT PUT THE BOOKS DOWN! It's just SO INTERESTING! It seemed like the books were too short.
1) The Love Triangle: Of course, EVERYONE is itching to find out who Katniss is going to choose (if she gets to choose). I mean, girls are fawning over Peeta, him being the sweet little bakery boy he is. And on the other hand, other girls are rooting for Gale, the muscular, caring guy that has what it takes to survive and protect Katniss. Maybe I'm being biased here since I'm totally TEAM GALE!
2) The Districts: *SPOILER ALERT* I mean, what the heck happened to District Twelve?! And what is District Thirteen?! Collins better explain EVERYTHING in Mockingjay.
3) The Rebellion: What happened to that or should I say what will happen about that? Will they fight? What about the government? Too many questions! Too much hanging on Mockingjay!
Oh my goodness! There's too much about Mockingjay that makes me want to read it, I can't even list them all!

Congratulations!

Since I had to send books to Australia and India the past two weeks (YIKES expensive!!), I'm only picking one person this week.  Please love me anyway!  Seriously I spent $22.  I might pick two next week if your comments are compelling ; )

Amy, Andye, Kit, Abigaile and Austin
