Joanne "Jo" Murray, was born on July 31, 1965 better known under the pen name J.K. Rowling. She also gave Harry the same birthday as her. Harry Potter July 31, 1980.
Thank you J.K. for giving us Harry... I'm not sure if we would be so eager to read a book if we did not start with your series first!
