Werewolves, werewolves, werewolves. I'm actually a big fan of werewolves/shapeshifters vs. other supernaturals. So my favorite? Kitty from Carrie Vaughn's books. I love how her character changes & develops plus she makes me laugh. ; )

Thanks for the fun giveaway.

The forest. Be in communion with nature and feel the wind with smell pine. The sound at animals and the leaves of trees, is amazing. Besides, I like reading quietly in a forest clearing. This I did a couple of times, and it's fantastic.

My favorite vacation spot is Morocco-more specifically the Atlas mountains. I have many distant relatives in morocco- and its just so cool....the Atlas mountain chain that runs threw morocco is just...breathtaking EVERYONE should see that at least once in their life. Casablance is beautiful and most of my family lives there so thats always fun...and i'm never bored their is always something to do weather it be clibling mountains, touring old kasbas or making msimon :)

  5. My favorite vacation spot is... Cancun, Mexico!!

I went there last Thanksgiving and I loved it so, so, so much.

    1) The water in the beaches were so blue and so clear, it was insane. I live near a beach, except here the water is gross and gray. So looking at the incredibly beautiful beaches of Cancun was really refreshing.

    2) The condos are so nice. The one that I went to was a chain of different "Palaces" and if you check into one, you can go into any other one in the chain. Plus, there is a bar with tons of different drinks IN the swimming pool.

    3) The weather is always nice and so you can just go out and sit and... READ!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. My favorite vacation place is Charleston, SC! I love it because of the old time feel of the Civil War town. It is also well known for its beautiful beaches and amazing seafood! Thanks for this contest!

I love going to this little beach town about four hours north where I live. It's where my mom grew up, so it kind of has a familiar, yet fresh air whenever we go there. I just love the atmosphere is, and when I'm there I just forget the world.

I would love Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson!!!

  9. My favorite vacation spot is anywhere with a beach! I love laying out in the sun all day just relaxing and hearing the waves crash on the shore.

  11. My favorite vacation spot is a little cabin in a very small town in the thumb of michigan. You can go to the beach or go to a little ice cream shop, that makes the best ice cream. It is really relaxing.

  12. Please count me in. Thanks for making the contest international!
I am from India and my favorite vacation spot is Kausani (Uttarakhand). Its a hill station. I love the weather and the fact that its so green and beautiful. You can even see the Himalayan ranges. Its so untouched and not crowded with tourists.I just love sitting by the window with the view of the himalayas and reading...its so soothing.

  13. My favorite vacation spot is the beaches at Morrocoy, Venezuela. They are gorgeous :)

My favorite vacation spot is New Smyrna Beach, Fla ... where I grew up.
It has the title of the world's safest bathing beach (or used to), and consists of miles & miles of the most beautiful, white, curved beach on the east coast.
Not only that, but NSB was where the Spaniards first settled, however it was not a permanent settlement so that title goes instead to St. Augustine, Fla.

As a child, I used to play in the ground remains of the "old fort" overlooking the marina.

I sure do miss it lol !!!!

  17. My favorite vacation spot was Cozumel, Mexico. Talk about BEAUTIFUL!!

  18. My favorite vacation spot: Alsace, France. I love to spend time in the little towns and vineyards just relaxing.

    Twitter & Facebook follower.

  19. Alaska in the summer. Nothing like it.

  20. My favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World. I'm a huge Disney fan and it's so much fun to go there with family!

I love to go to any beach in México, they're all GORGEOUS! and in Cancun you can swim with dolphins and in Cabo you can sail along grey whales!
    it's beautiful!

  24. I have to say my ideal vacation spot is a lake surrounded by trees. There is nothing more relaxing or peaceful than floating on a lake with the trees and mountains around you. There is a park nearby that is just like that. I swear if it wasn't a state park i would buy land there.

  25. I love Gatlinburg, TN. It's so relaxing and beautiful! We always rent a cabin in the mountains, and our favorite activity is sitting in the hot tub and taking in the spectacular views! There is also a great downtown area full of shopping and amusements. Hillbilly Golf is a must.

  26. I love anything by an aquarium.

  27. My favorite vacation spot would have to be NYC. I've only traveled to the USA and so far I'm in love with that city. It's everything about it really that makes me want to live there someday: the lights, the people, the music, the little details that make it different from my country and especially the freedom of been whoever you want to be and doing whatever you wish to do. Everytime I visit I fall more in love with it, I even get nostalgic when I'm at home and I just wish I could visit again and again and again. I LOVE NYC <3

  35. +JMJ+

The first place that comes to mind was the historic island of Corregidor, because it's probably my favourite place on earth. The ruins from World War II are still standing, and the flora that has managed to recover from the near-constant bombing through several years is just beautiful. And for those staying overnight, the guides let you explore a dark Malinta Tunnel armed with nothing but hardhats and flashlights! (Oh, yes: they make sure to tell you about all the ghosts there before they kill the lights! LOL!)

Unfortunately, one can only stay for a few days. It's not the kind of vacation spot that lets you hang out and chill for a much-needed month of relaxation. But I still love it!

PS--I update my link to Second Hand Saturday on my sidebar every week:
