The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott Reviewed by Abigaile

Everyone knows The Unwritten Rule: You don't like your best friend's boyfriend.

Sarah has had a crush on Ryan for years. He's easy to talk to, supersmart, and totally gets her. Lately it even seems like he's paying extra attention to her. Everything would be perfect except for two things: Ryan is Brianna's boyfriend, and Brianna is Sarah's best friend.
Sarah forces herself to avoid Ryan and tries to convince herself not to like him. She feels so guilty for wanting him, and the last thing she wants is to hurt her best friend. But when she's thrown together with Ryan one night, something happens. It's wonderful...and awful.
Sarah is torn apart by guilt, but what she feels is nothing short of addiction, and she can't stop herself from wanting more...

I will try to go about this as calmly as possible.
The Unwritten Rule was SO amazing!!! I finished it in one day, I just couldn't put it down. It's days after reading it, and I still can't stop thinking about it.
Ryan, was just freaking awesome. Despite the fact that he did some stupid things, that you'll figure out when you read the book... Which you must! I thought Ryan's relationship with Sarah was super cute!
The only thing that bugged me the whole book was that Sarah was just too nice. Every time Brianna said something to her that was rude or putting her down, Sarah just went with it. She didn't have a backbone at all. And of course Brianna was something-that-I-can't-say-on-this-website. I really wish this book was longer! 210 pages is just way too short for such a good book like this... So good!

Kit and I will be doing a Vlog about this AMAZING novel very soon.

Also, I just want to thank Elizabeth Scott for signing this book to me at ALA! My mom said she was very sweet.
