I hate it when theres too much romance and sexual stuff in it.. I mean come on.. Can we keep it to JUST a kissing? and not a steamy one. gees. sorry just really annoys me. I also hate it when the girl jumps from guy to guy, when she likes the first guy thats the one I want her with! Not jumping around! Take book the series House of Night or whatever I HATE that series! Ok, I'll quit with my rant : )

Email me at ReadingTeen1 at with your book choice!!  You have a week to claim your prize!

ATTENTION!!  If you win and you'd like a series of books that are listed and are willing to pay the shipping, we will ship them all to you!  (It's too expensive for us to do it ourselves!)

  1. I love everything about Reading Teen.My favorites are the reviews , the author interviews and ofcourse, the wonderful contests!

  2. I'm new to the blog, but so far (besides the contests of course) I like the Reading Clean Spotlight. I'm no prude or anything but there have been a few books I have had to put down because the plot gets sacrificed for the sexytime scenes. Story, people!!! I want STORY!!

  3. My fav thing about your blog is the Reading Clean segment. It is nice to know how to suggest a book to someone else without having to read every book that passes through. I'm a librarian so your reviews really help me judge which is appropriate for different ages groups. Thanks!

  4. I think the reviews and contests. The reviews are really well done and detailed, with a unique rating pic. :)

  5. I love you guys for the reviews. They help me to find SO many new books, and I haven't found one book you've rated highly that I didn't like!

  6. My fave thing about your blog is the reviews. There are SO many great books out there, and reading reviews helps me figure out which ones I'd like to put on the top of my TBR pile. :)

  7. What I REALLY love about Reading Teen is the reviews!!
Always adding something to my wish list! Hahaha

Of course I like the contests too! They are always awesome and, better, internacional!

  8. I love connecting on Twitter, and finding new books to read!

  9. I love the reviews, interviews, contests, clean reading, well, everything!

  10. I love the reviews and contests! Reviews because it helps me decide what to buy and contests because, well, it means free books.

  11. Um, sorry. I added my link to the Second Hand Saturday thing by accident. The one with the Mr Linky.

  12. I discovered Reading Teen quite recently and I love that it is a group blog because that way there are more reviews, more of a variety in the genres of the reviews according to personal reading tastes and also in the way that the review is written as I've noticed that all of the team have a different style of writing.
My favourite feauture is the Reading Clean Spotlight because I won't read anything that has over the top sexual content and your reccommended clean reads/reads not to try is fantastic.

Of course, I love the contests too as you include a range of different genres to win and they are international!

  13. I really enjoy the author interviews. It is always nice to get to know them. The giveaways are great.

  14. for me its the reviews and contests :), I love books if I can win one, its like Christmas, and many of the books bought its after seeing your reviews.

  15. Congrats to the winner. I love everyting that this site has to offer.

  25. I have to admit, I discovered Reading Teen through your amazing giveaways. But now I'm your regular visitor:)I read mostly reviews and interviews. Recently I loved review of Siren and now I can't wait to read it.

  26. To be perfectly honest, your contests are my main draw. But I do enjoy your reviews as well! They help me find new books I'll enjoy. :)

  29. I started to follow the blog last week and, so far, i loved the reviews. Reading them help me to make my "wishlist" and show me new books to read!

The contests are very good too. LOL

  30. I just joined this blog, and after looking around I fell in love! The reviews are so helpful! I could spend hours on here looking through everything, since it is Saturday I may just do that! (:

  31. I am a follower and I love your contests. Please enter me.

  32. I am a follower and I love your contests. Please enter me.

  33. I am a follower and I love your contests. Please enter me.

  34. I'm a pretty new follower, but I really enjoy your reviews, and of course, the amazing contests. I also love the interviews.

  35. So this may be a dorky answer, but my favorite thing about this blog is the design with the chess pieces! I know it's from the Twilight covers, but I think it would look cool even if I didn't know that. Did I mention I like chess?

  36. I love the Second Hand Saturday idea, of course! But I also love how much personality goes into the reviews, and how excited the bloggers are about their books! I can totally relate to being super psyched for a new release, and I love when the reviewers are too! I think it's a very good idea to post the (to parents) section at the end of a review, so readers know if the book is going to be too vulgar, or inappropriate. That's why Reading Teen is my go-to blog when I want an opinion I can relate to.

  37. Oh its the contests, and some of the reviews :)

  38. Everything-- second hand sat, reviews!

  39. I love Secondhand Saturday but also like the reviews because I can read about some books way before they are released here in Brazil. =)

  40. I love your Secondhand Saturday, but I also enjoy reading reviews on here... I rarely read every post on a site, but instead flip through my dashboard and click the posts that interest me.

  41. This is such a great idea! I'm going to do this in a few weeks when I stop being so crazy!

I love your site. I'm now follwing via reader and email. Thank you!

  42. Haha well I like the contests... but I like the review too! It helps me add things to my TBR pile :)

  43. I have to say my favorite things is the reviews. That and the fact you respond to things. I would have never picked up "The Hunger Games" if it wasn't for you. Seeing as i have just finished the first book and dying to read the next... ^^

  44. I am still new to the blog, but I love the reviews.

  45. Thanks for having another Second Hand Saturday!!! :D

Well, the contests definitely originally attracted me to reading teen and they have me coming back too, but I also love your reviews. They help me keep up to date on new releases and upcoming books. So basically, they help me add to my already humungous to-read list lol
Another plus about this blog is that the layout is gorgeous and I'm always happy to have it on my computer screen to look at. :)

  49. I love contests and I love books, but I love book contests the most:) I keep coming back to your blog because here they're international. Thanks for the chance!
And I also like the design of your blog, although I wish you'd offer a newsletter option, because I'm sometimes afraid to miss anything..

  59. I love the blog but my favorite is the Reading Clean Spotlight. And the giveaways aren't half bad ;)

  60. The friendliness and funness of the bloggers here! :D The reviews and Reading Clean spotlight are great too, even though I don't care that much about the for parents thing, or the cursing and etc, but still great reviews. They can't be as bad as romance and erotica genre anyway. :p (plus, their covers are so.. eek) and of course, contests are great!

  61. I do LOVE the Giveaways, but I also love that there are reviews from a variety of bloggers....Also I love the rating system!
