  1. I love dressing up for Halloween. I don't think anyone is ever too old to do it! One year I dressed up as a lego block--that was fun, but kind of difficult to move around in...
Count me in for the giveaway!
    Put it on Paper

  2. I was a fangless, makeup-less vampire in fourth grade. I was kinda just the girl with an awesome gothic dress thing and a collar thing.

  3. I love dressing up for Halloween. I wouldn't miss it for anything! My favorite costume is going to be this years, I am dressing up as Snooki (:

    Email: carmenpaigee(at)yahoo(dot)com

  4. In Australia, no one dresses up for Halloween, except in the case of a Halloween party. Am I going to one? No. But like in year 4, I dressed up as Tweety. :P

    Thanks for another SHS!

  5. I love dressing up! I think my favorite one was when I was a ghost!

  6. One year I went as Ariel from The Little Mermaid (fins and all). That was probably the more original of costumes that I've worn for Halloween.

    hauntingorchid (at) aol (dot) com

  7. I don't usually dress up during Halloween because I'm always assigned to the kitchen to bake. :p But I do wear a Tigger headband and sometimes hop around the kitchen just for fun.

  8. My favorite costume I've dressed up in was a gypsy. It was so fun to wear all the bangles and scarves and run around barefoot. Halloween is so fun.

  9. Dressing up for Halloweenn is awesome, I'm not sure what I'll be this year yet, last year I was a female Flash. :)
My favourite costume was probably when I was younger, maybe grade 6, when my best friend and I dressed up as purple haired hippies :D we made tye-dyed shirts, bell-bottoms and all that stuff :D
Thanks for the Secondhand Saturday! :D

  10. I love dressing up for Halloween. My favorite costume was when my husband and I dressed up as Sally and Jack Skellington.

    Thanks for the chance!

  11. I LOOOOVE dressing up for Halloween. My favorite costume I've ever worn was the year I dressed as Marie Antoinette. The dress was really extravegant, but the baby powder I put in my hair made me sneeze all night. :P

  12. Dressing up for Halloween isn't the usual scenario in my country, except during Halloween parties. I don't really dress up for Halloween. However, if I would be in a place where that sort of thing happens - like in the US - then I would love to do it yearly!

I remember that I dressed up as a witch. :)

  13. we don't have Halloween in my country. but i always enjoy watching people on TV dressing up for Halloween :)

    uniquas at ymail dot com

  14. I used to love dressing up. Not so much anymore. My favorite was dressing up as a renaissance wench and I won a costume contest. I also adored the witch costume my mother made for me. It was awesome! :)

  15. Halloween is big deal in our house we plan for months. We have a party for friends and family. My favorite costume was a pirate outfit I created on my own.

  16. +JMJ+

Of course I love dressing up on Halloween! I can't understand people who don't--my younger wet-blanket brothers included. =P

My favourite was a Headless Horseman costume I made all by myself--with an old shirt far too big for me and the remains of a tube of red lipstick. I used some wire to make a necklace/halo to hold the collar up over my head; and smeared the lipstick all over the white shirt. =)

  17. I love dressing up for Halloween. My favorite costume was from when I was a kid, and my mother made me a centaur costume. I had a horse body that was solid enough to stand on its own and back legs that moved with my own legs when I walked. I loved it so much. Wish I had a picture to share :)

  18. We don't celebrate Heloween in my country so I never had a chance to dress up for it.
    xlacrimax at gmail dot com

  19. I've been a lot of crazy things for Halloween, and usually they're all last minute things. I've been all sorts of crazy things from being Alice Cullen to a Graveyard Fairy even Blue's Clues (I was 8). The best one so far was this AMAZING homemade Pizza costume my family made. It was a group effort, complete with felt pepperonis and mushrooms, plastic fish anchovies, silly string cheese, and a gaping shark-sized bite mark for authenticity. Unfortunately, my friends, like all pizza lovers, picked their favorite toppings right off my costume for keepsakes. It turned out to be a worthwhile costume regardless, though. :)

This year, I'm going as Katniss Everdeen. ;)

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  20. Unfortunately we don't celebrate Halloween in my country... :(

  21. Ohhh. What I want to wear would probably be fantasy creatures. Nymph, fairy, witch, vampire.

  22. I don't fress up for halloween,

but if I could, it would definitely be as a spy!

    am a follower

  23. Halloween is not exactly a big deal in my country. I only got to dress up for Halloween once when my family still lived in Canada. My sister dressed me up as Sailormoon. I don't think it was the best Halloween dress up ever because the clothes I wore was made by my sister and she didn't/doesn't have very dexterous hands. Instead, I looked like Sailor rag. *looks at picture* Ah! *shudders*

  24. Last year my american friend hosted a halloween party, where I dressed up as a vampire! It was a last minute party so mum and I went out the morning befoe the party to buy a cape and everything!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  25. Nothing happens for Halloween in my country, so I've never dressed up.

  26. I dressed up as a witch once... but I don't really dress up a lot for Halloween.

  27. Halloween is so great! I don't dress up tons, but my mom is a great seamstress, so I always got to be legitimate. My Cinderella dress?! No flimsy store bought stuff for me! It was awesome! Once, I was a medieval princess with flowing sleeves and a cloak, I got to be Nefertiti (Egyptian queen) and a southern belle, complete with hoop skirt! It was pretty rad, not gonna lie! :)

  28. I love dressing up on Halloween. I remember last year i dressed up as a female pirate. it was so much fun I wore a sword inside a thick old cloth belt & a bandana on my head with dangling charms (something like Johnny Depp in Pirates of Carribean. Everyone dresses up as vampires and ghosts and its so damn boring nowadayz. Dressing up something like a pirate, army person or something is great as it shows that females are strong & powerful too and capable of doing just whatever guys can!!

  29. I am not dressing for Halloween this year but I do like Angel costumes and vampire. Please enter me in contest.

  30. We don't have Halloween in my country. But I would loved to dress up as a witch.

  31. I usually dress up as a character or author for Halloween. I try for someone creepy so that I can get into the spirit--My students have a great time trying to guess who I'm going to come to school as for the whole week before Halloween!

    mrsderaps @ hotmail. com

  32. I like dressing up as a demon.

  33. I stopped dressing up for a while there but since my kids were born dressing up for Halloween is fun again! I dress up as fun silly things for them so they enjoy themselves. Last year I dressed up as Iron Man for my son and he loved it!

  34. I like to dress up ^.^ Vampire was my favourite costume. I'm sickly obsessed with vampires *blush*

  35. I like dressing up for halloween my favorite costume was last year I dressed up as a vampire and my sister did my make up. It really looked like I was the undead lol

  36. I would dress up when my kids were little. I was the grim reaper one year. It was fun to dress up. Still dress up for work.
    Sue B

  37. I don't really dress up for Halloween. I know it's probably boring but I usually dressed up as a witch when I was a child.

  38. I always dress up for Halloween! I think my favorite costume was when I went as bride of Frankenstein, my mom did my hair all big and it was legit.

  39. In my country we don't celebrate halloween... there are some parties, but usually they are not costume parties. So, the truth is I never dress up for halloween. But, there's Carnavel here, and we do dress up for this. The truth is I do not dress up for some years, already, but I like to use costumes. I love to dress up like a fairy, ballerina and pirate \o/

  40. I love dressing up for Halloween. ^^ This year i'm going to be an HP student minus the cloak. It's nice enough outfit i'm going to try to get away with wearing it all day.

  41. I love to dress up for Halloween but I never know what to dress up as. I don't have a favorite costume that comes to mind. :)

  42. I used to love dressing up for Halloween. My favorite costume was a clown.

  46. We did have a halloween party once and I decided to dress up as Superwoman. I had the 'S' t-shirt so my mum wanted to make the cape and skirt, she's helpful like that :D

  47. In Brazil, it`s very rare people dressing up for Halloween!
But when I was 10 years old, my friends and I dressed up and went to the street asking for candies!
I was in a witch's costume! It was really fun!!

  48. I've actually done up a gothic-looking Tinker Bell once, the whole idea of wings in black glitter and those cute cotton-ball fluff shoes was too good to pass up [though I couldn't get my hair done as nicely or neatly as hers - haha] :)

    Thank you for the chance!!

  49. Sadly, we don't celebrate Halloween where I'm at so no dress up for me.

  50. I love the idea of dressing up for Halloween, but I don't do it. I don't go out on Halloween so what's the point.

I don't know what my favorite costume was, but now I think it would be awesome to dress up as Scooby-Doo!

  51. Halloween is my favorite holiday! One of my favorite costumes was when I was in elementary school--I dressed up at Sailor Moon (I was obsessed with the show at the time)

    arallison at

  52. Unfortunately we don't celebrate Halloween in Brazil but we have Carnaval and I used to dress up for that as an indian or as Pebbles Flintstone. So much fun, I wish I could do that for Halloween too!!!

  53. Just left a link for my Secondhan Saturday :)

  54. Well, my favroite costume will have to be this year's. It's the first time I've been able to dress up in a long time, because my family didn't celebrate while I was growing up. Now that I'm out of the house, I can! We have a Halloween theme at my work - Shrek - and I'm Repunzel. I love my long, ridiculous wig!

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  55. Hi! Thanks for the contest. I'm a follower. I love dressing up for Halloween; it's the best part! : ) It's hard to decide which costume was my favorite; maybe when I was Ariel (you know, The Little Mermaid). I had a big green tail and red hair and everything!

  56. The only thing I ever liked about Halloween was the candy, so my costumes were as generic as possible.ghost,witch,bum..etc.never had a favorite one.

  57. I remember one time when I was little and I dressed up like my grandmother; wearing her bra was ROOMY! Lol, I think dressing up is awesome for Halloween and I'd do it every year.

  58. LOVE TO DRESS UP! My favorite costume was when I was young. It was a princess costume with a beautiful dress!

    foltzsfantasticbooks at

  64. I usually dress up like a cranky mom. Sometimes I make sash that says "Mother of the Year."

  65. Truth be told: I have never worn a single Halloween costume. EVER. Yes, yes, I know... I have no life. But this year I'm going Trick'r'Treating with a few of my friends. I'm going as a hippie. A dress-wearing-non-showering-barefooted-hippie! :D Exciting, innit? :) Well... Cheers! And thanks for the giveaway! XD

    Here's my e-mail:

  66. I do like to dress up for Halloween! My favorite costume would have to be Snow White-- I've had three different Snow White costumes throughout my life!

  67. I haven't dressed up in years, but I enjoy dressing my kids up. My favortie costume from when I was a kid was a university of Washington's Husky cheerleader outfit. My family was huge Husky fans and being able to dress as a cheerleader was a huge deal :)

  68. I always dress up at the dearly departed Marilyn Monroe. Combining my ghostly palor, blonde bombshell wig, air vent white dress and angel wings is always a hit!

  69. When I was younger I used to dress up as a witch all the time. I was probably a witch every other year until I was 10.

  70. I once portrayed a white lady (though I have a brown complexion so I thought it would be more appropriate if I portrayed black lady) back when I was in 5th grade. I was actually one of the creepy creatures inside the horror booth. I loved how the other kids screamed that time. Haha!

  71. I would love to have an answer! But Halloween isn't really celebrated here in my country. :(

    feeyonachan at gmail dot com

    spamscape [at] gmail [dot] com

  74. I love dressing up for halloween! I'm usually in just jeans and a shirt, but Halloween is when I go all out. My favorite costume by far is when I went as Wednesday Addams, complete with the braids and school-girl socks. This year I wanna top that by going as Elphaba :)

  75. I don't like dressing up as much as I enjoy walking around in my jeans, but dressing up can be fun as well. Sadly where I live no one dresses up on Halloween, but my favorite costume that I've ever worn is probably the costume I had when I was acting in a play as a thief fox.
Count me in for the giveaway!
    My email is:

  76. I love to dress up for Halloween! I don't know if I can really pick a favorite, but last year I dressed up as a Greek goddess and that turned out pretty cool!

  77. I don't dress up often anymore cause it costs to much money to make the kinds of costumes that I'd like to make. I tend to lean towards vampires or goth since I have dark hair and pale skin, it works really well.

    jlynettes @ hotmail . com

  78. I haven't been to many costume parties but my favorite costume was a zombie! I got my white makeup on and got blood splatters all over :D

  79. I will probably be a kitty this year but would love to be able to figure out something spectacular. My favorite costume? Hmmmm. Probably the pumpkin costume that my mom made. I wore it for years, but it was awesome!

    Emily ebdye1(at)gmail(dot)com

  80. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Though I've stopped trick R treating awhile ago, I always dress up. I've been everything, but in the past six years I've always been a faerie! Faeries are awesome! Thanks for the giveaway!

    ivy AT ivyhawthorn DOT com

  82. I've never dressed up for Halloween. But if I could, I wanna be a mustard!!

  84. I don't celebrate Halloween, so I don't dress up.

  88. Sadly we don't really celebrate Halloween, but I'm looking to find someone to go check out a Halloween party this year. As for dressing up, it'd be fun to do so, but at the same time weird cuz the majority of people in the city would be looking at me in a weird way. LOL
