Couldn't pass up an opportunity to win THE ETERNAL ONES!!! My favorite "scary" movie (and it really isn't scary...) would have to be either "The Village" or "The Others." I'd much rather have one you have to figure out instead of a legit scary one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! :)
My favorite psychological thriller which, coincidentally, is also the best anime psychological thriller ever, is Deathnote. Hands down!
ReplyDeleteisabookwhore @ gmail.com
The best scary movie I've ever seen was The Exorcism of Emily Rose (which is based on a true story), it was an extremely creepy movie. ^_^
ReplyDeletehauntingorchid (at) aol (dot) com
I don't really watch scary movies because I'm afraid I might have a heart attack. Yes, I know I'm a coward like that. :D But, back when I was 12 years old or so, when I didn't care about ghosts or whatsoever, I have watched the Ghost Ship and I swear, I thought I was going to throw up! Luckily, I did not! I can still recall the scenes while I'm typing this. *shivers*
ReplyDeletereadinglassie(at)yahoo(dot)com
IT was really scary. And I also thought Quarantine was scary too!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible at scary movies. I watched a bit of The Grudge, I think. I'm not sure at all. Scary movies are kind of the same to me. :P
ReplyDeletecc932005 at hotmail dot com
How about the Exorcist and the Evil Dead
ReplyDeletetbarrettno1 at gmail dot com
I liked the Japanese "One Missed Call"...in the WTF just happened? way lol
ReplyDeleteninefly(at)gmail(dot)com
My favorite scary movie is The Ring. I almost died of terror!
ReplyDeleteI've watched so many horror movies, but have yet to see one that truly scared me. Martyrs is one that I thought was pretty psychologically horrifying though.
ReplyDeleteI love scary movies! :D
ReplyDeleteI really love Dawn of the Dead, zombies=awesome, except when they eat you :S
I also love the Underworld movies, but I don't find them scary, pretty much just paranormal lol
The Ring never fails to freak me out either, I watched that movie at least 3 times and it still scares me :S I think it's because it makes sense to me strangely...
Great question for Halloween :)
Happy Halloween! :D

My favorite psychological thriller was The Ring or Paranormal Activities - brrrrrrrrr lol
I believe it's "The It". The Stephen King movie with the stupid clown. I know it's pretty old but oh my...when i first saw it i was afraid to go out of my house and i always wanted someone with me.
ReplyDeletegiota22@msn.com
I think that my favourite must be The shine....or The others....But I can't watch a scary movie alone....:P:P
ReplyDeleteMy pick would be Final Destination 4.
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to watch a kid show, but ended up watching this horror movie.
[not to mention , front row seats too!]
:D

For me it was the exorcist I still remember the first time I seen that movie, and was the one that most scare me...
ReplyDeletemarcoafmiranda (at) gmail (dot) com
Mine would be the movie, Saw. I could say the whole series but I only "saw" the first movie and got so freaking haunted by the film I refuse to see the other sequels.
ReplyDeleteI remember squirming in my seat and spent the last parts of the movie with my earphones on because I was so freaked out in the movie house. I still blame my friends for dragging me to see that movie and damaging me for the rest of my life. LOL.
And have you seen Jigsaw? Man, the mask is creepy and heartattack-inducing.

Ok this is going to sound lame but... I remember when I was 3 or so, my dad and I watched The Blob... Yes I said The Blob, and it scared the crap out of me.. I thought the blob was going to come out of the sofa and eat me alive. I have never recovered.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
stephanie_xoxo27@yahoo.com
My favorite psychological thriller or scary movie would have to be 30 Days Of Night!!! I loved that movie!!
ReplyDeleteKristen
My Bloody Fairy Tale
They're not really scary, but I loved "The Village" and "The Sixth Sense." I can't handle overly scary movies!
ReplyDeleteIt's HALLOWEEN!!! This week, tell us your favorite scary movie/psychological thriller!! And Happy Trick-or-Treating!
ReplyDeleteFor me, the scary movie which I was more frightened of was "Nightmare on Elm Street". I watched it with my sister when I was a child, and it gave me the creeps. I remember when I was going to the bed, my sister and me shared a room and she enjoyed scaring me, for example putting a poster of Freddy Krugger in the back of the door and I saw it from my bed. Still today when I channel surf and this movie is being displayed, I prefer change again.
I really love "Sweeney Todd" MOSTLY because it's a musical and a horror film =D. I love this movie sooo much!
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a fan of the scary movie, but the one that was the most memorable for me was The Amityville Horror.
ReplyDeleteMargay
I love Darkness Falls and It. Please enter me in contest. Tore923@aol.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be The 6th Sense. I actually watched the whole movie and even enjoyed it, though I have troubles with scary movies.
ReplyDeletexlacrimax at gmail dot com
What a fun giveaway this week! One of my favorite thrillers is an oldie, but a goodie :) I really like What Lies Beneath. You have so many good choices this week, I don't even know which one I'd pick if I win haha. Good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen many scary movies so I can't really do this I guess. Maybe the scariest one I've seen is the Exorcism of Emily Rose but I saw it in the day light, so its all good :) Tried to watch Dracula for Halloween last year, and it didn't really happen lol.
ReplyDeleteI've watched a lot of scary films, but I have to say my favourite has got to be The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Absolutely LOVE that film!!! It's the best!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scary movie (which isn't at all scary) is Zombieland :)
ReplyDeletemagabygc@ gmail.com

ReplyDeleteMy favourite scary movie? At the moment, I'd vote for the entire Scream franchise. I like the way they blend tongue-in-cheek genre awareness with real jump-out-of-your-skin thrills. =)
final destination
ReplyDeletebrandileigh2003@yahoo.com
I'd say three movies were really scary: "The Exorcist" (what was that girl going down the stairs like that?!!), "The Ring" (I couldn't sleep for 7 days!) and "The Shining" (freaking little twins!)...
ReplyDeletemilagp1@yahoo.com.br
My favorite scary move is IT.
ReplyDeleteRaelena
throuthehaze at gmail dot com
Wow, what a great question!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many movies I have watched and thought they were great!
One of the scariest moveis I have seen is "Martyrs" which is a French thriller, and I also loved "The Others" and "Dead Again".
Happy Halloween!
I really liked the book Blindness...great psychological thriller!
ReplyDeletearallison(at)gmail.com
I don't really watch scary movies, I'm more like a comedy and action movie type of a girl. I haven't watched many thrillers, and the movie I chose for this isn't quite like one either, but let's just say it creeps me out. So the movie is...Donnie Darko...I know, I know, but what can I say...I'm a sucker when it comes to Jake Gyllenhaal, and I really enjoyed/was scared when I watched this movie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!!!
pipi9[at]hot[dot]ee
I haven't seen many scary movies because I'm kind of a wimp, but I remember being terrified of Alien when I was younger. *shivers*
ReplyDeleteI HATE scary movies. I will never watch another scary movie in my life. About 2 weeks ago I saw a CSI that made me sleep on the couch, so now I no longer will watch CSI. I sound like such a baby, lol. When I was younger I used to always watch scary movies. But the first scary movie(well psychological I guess) to really freak me out is Se7en...I couldn't sleep for a week. It was horrible. The sloth scene is what did it for me.
ReplyDeletejacindahinten(at)gmail(dot)com
The saw movie! The first one is by far the best! It was great because it was both a mind game and scared the crap out of me! But I love it
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scarey movie(s)is the orginal Halloween and The Shining.
ReplyDeleteSue B
katsrus(at)gmail(dot)com
I honestly couldn't think of the most scarey book I'd read, nothing popped into my mind. I just wanted to say that this is a great idea. I hope I can get into the next one.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower - also on Twitter. Hope you can check out my novel, Lethal Inheritance - info and ch 1 on my website
hmmm..I'm usually not a fan of scary movies. There's something about the movie Thirteen Ghosts that always sticks with me.
ReplyDeletejlynettes @ hotmail . com
My favourite scary movie The Grudge #1. I love this creepy lady!!! However the second movi ewa just too scary, friend and it turned it off and put on Mean girls instead :P

ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
sena.sagani [at]gmail[dot]com
I don't watch many but I loved Orphan.
ReplyDeleteEsther is such a delightfully creepy character!
I just saw a super scary movie called The Strangers. It's a psychological suspense, and in my opioion horror movie that I will never watch it again.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite psychological scary movie is "Nightmare on Elm Street." For me the idea of my dreams not being completely my own was so scary! I couldn't sleep for days after watching it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Hmm, my favorite psychological thriller is The Sixth Sense.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scary movie is The Others.
ReplyDeleteI hate scary movies!!! But if I had to pick a thriller, I'd choose Donnie Darko. Love that one!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scary movie is...None. I don't do scary movies, ever! The few I can remember that scared the crap out of me are paranormal activity, The sixth sense and the others.
ReplyDeletejune111@att.net
I'm not a fan of scary movies, and my favorite psychological thriller would be The Sixth Sense. I'm a big fan of Bruce Willis.

I love Nightmare Before Christmas :D
ReplyDeletelesly7ch(at)yahoo(dot)com
I'm old...my favorite is The Lost Boys :)
ReplyDeleteI don't go very scary...I'm kind of a wimp. The Time Machine (the old one) scares me. And yet I always end up watching it by myself late at night?????
ReplyDeleteI did watch Secret Window a couple months ago and got kinda creeped out.
Emily ebdye1(at)gmail(dot)com
(Oh, and for some unknown reason, the show Most Haunted does NOT scare me. Go figure.)
I am a gfc follower, and I love the movie "The Picture of Dorian Gray"--horror films at its best.
ReplyDeleteruthaw_1974@yahoo.com
I have to go with Freddy Kreuger, because they were my favourite when I was younger. Nightmare on Elm Street are classics, even if at times I wondered whether One, two, Freddy's coming for you..." the moment I closed my eyes and entered my crazy psycho dreamland.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love that you have the Deathly Hallows trailer embedded on your site. It makes me giddy with excitement every time I visit! :D
Hope you had a Happy Halloween and thanks for the givaway!
I have to say "The Uninvited" terrified me! It's definitely psychological and man, is it creepy.
ReplyDeleteIt's not even close to Halloween, but Happy Halloween anyways!
