A Word About Wither by Lauren DeStefano

Tomorrow is release day for Lauren DeStefano's first book in The Chemical Garden Trilogy, Wither, and I just have to say, go buy this book!!  My review doesn't post until Thursday (as part of a blog tour), but I couldn't hold in my love for this book.  I'm still on a high from reading it!

In case it's not enough that I tell you to buy it.....I haven't heard a negative thing about it from anyone else either.  I'm sure there are some that don't care for it, but overwhelmingly, I've heard only praise.

For those interested, there is a mild amount of profanity.  The book deals with a future where girls are kidnapped and sold into prostitution and marriage, but sex is not described.  There are somewhat gruesome details about a birth, and about death from a virus, and there is some violence.

  1. O-M-G really??? Should go buy now? OMG! I'm trying to get a copy with the publisher, didn't receive an answer yet.
Ahhhh so good to know you liked it!!!

  2. This is definitely one of those run-and-buy it books!

  3. Loved this book! Can't wait til I can get a hard copy so I can just hold and look at how pretty it is. Then read it again :D

  4. I absolutely flipped out over this book, I still think about it :) That cliffhanger! Ahhhhh
