Second Hand Saturday On A Sunday... Go Figure!!!

Welcome to Second Hand Saturday!! In an attempt to clear our bookshelves, and pass on great used books to our stalkers followers, Amy, Kit, Abigaile, Austin and I have decided to hold weekly giveaways of some of the books on our bookshelves! Every Saturday, we will post the books available, and the following Saturday, we will announce the winner and our next challenge. The winner will get to choose a book from the list and we will ship it to that lucky person! Each week we will have a different challenge to complete (see below).

  1. My summer plan is to make money so I can start saving for my future condo as well as provide my brother with food money because it's his first time living away from home. Not much fun besides watching movies with friends or shopping as usual :)

  2. My summer - take my 10month old the beach for the first time! My son wants a big boy fishing rod like daddy to learn to fish so thats on the list also I recently went to washington to the The Smithsonian Institution so much fun but not enough time I want to take the kids back there. And september 4th We plan to go to Atlantic city for beach, storybook land and shopping - my summer is always based around my kids, theres were the fun is! :) LOL

  4. My summer plans are to go to Virginia Beach with my kids at some point in August. That's the plan, anyway! Until then, I just want to get as much reading in as I can :)

  11. My summer plan had already started! I was in Animal Kingdom and decided to pay to touch the giraffes! it was really pretty and something I will NEVER forget. Then we go to Ripleys- Believe or not believe. I WENT TO THE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL- La Nouba! OMG -ok sorry is that I always wanted to go and I was in the front and ...... just really awesome you gotta go. AND well some more things..

    Now I'm going to travel soon to first time to Canada, New York and a lot of more places.

    AND SEE HARRY POTTER! FTW! <3

My summer plan is to go to the zoo and have my son(20mo) see animals in person for the first time, have a backyard bbq with the family, have a bbq at the park with the WHOLE family w/ a water balloon fight that includes the adults lol, bbq with the friends (a lot of bbq-ing!) , a little shopping, and a walk at santa cruz boardwalk =)

  16. My summer consists mostly of working, but I have a week off in August where I will be travelling to visit family with my husband and daughter. We plan on visiting the zoo and a theme park while we are there, where my daughter will have her first experience on a roller coaster.

  25. My summer plans involove volunteering at my local library, finishing my summer reading list, and building an earth oven so when we need to cook pizza or bread we won't have to heat the entire house to do so.

  30. It's winter here in Australia unfortunately and it's freezing! Well not snowing but its still cold. Where I live the joke is that we have four seasons in one day. Jacket off. Jacket on. Jacket off. So this winter/summer I plan to find a warm place and soak up the sun. I plan to get a job so I don't have to ask for my parents money anymore. Online shopping here I come! Hopefully... :)

  31. May I add also to finish all the Harry Potter books. ( Yes I still haven't read them all how horrible of me) And watch the movie then go on Pottermore so Harry is never forgotten !

  35. My summer plans are to try to read as much as I possibly can and to get together all of the things that I will need for living in my new apartment for when I transfer schools. And of course trying to spend as much time with my Mom and boyfriend [when they're not working] as I possibly can before my move-in date on the twenty-seventh of August.
