Sixteen Original Stories From Today's Hottest Paranormal Writers

A journey may take hundreds of miles, or it may cover the distance between duty and desire.  Chilling, funny, or romantic, these talkes of journeys will leave readers enthralled.
Enthralled is the first Anthology that I've ever read.  For those who don't know, an anthology is a collection of stories by various authors, usually with a common theme.  There are 16 stories in this anthology.  Red Run by Kami Garcia is the second story I read.
I liked this story a lot!  It reminded me of one of those ghost stories you tell when you're sitting around a campfire at night.  And when you get to the end someone yells, and you all scream (then you laugh hysterically.....and in the movies, that's when the ax murderer comes out).   Of course, being from Kami Garcia, this story is set in the South, and deals with the ghost story about Tommy, a boy said to haunt a certain road, killing all those who stop to pick him up.

I did like the story a lot.  There was an element of mystery and suspense to it.  I have to say, maybe I was in a morbid mood, but I was hoping for a more gruesome ending, but it was pretty creepy all the same.  Just don't read it out loud while sitting around a campfire.....

Thanks to Melissa Marr and Harper Teen, we're giving away a copy of Enthralled.  You can enter to win it here.  I'll be reviewing stories from Enthralled during this giveaway.  You can find them by clicking the Enthralled label!
