ReplyDeletefrequentreader19 (at) gmail (dot) com
Well mines not really a dish but it is something my family only gets for me on Thanksgiving. Baby corn! I have loved it since I was little and it's part of our Thanksgiving tradition now.
ReplyDeleteI just finished The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and, simply, I loved it. It's very long but I enjoyed every page. Now, I'm reading a YA Spanish book bestseller, Songs for Paula (Canciones para Paula)by Blue Jeans. It's a trilogy and the books are also long but it likes me. It's very easy to read.
ReplyDeleteI just started on "The Forge of God" by Greg Bear.
ReplyDeleteI only eat meat once a year, one of them being Thanksgiving, so I enjoy the turkey!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder.
ReplyDeleteI love my aunt's pumpkin pie!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Abandon by Meg Cabot and Julie Kagawa's the Iron King, and I'm loving both! :D

ReplyDeleteHands downs... Turkey Dressing! I can't get enough. =D
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of Fade-Out by Patrick Tilley. It's an old sci-fi novel which I hope to finish soon and get rid of. I liked other books by this author, but this one is just outdated and boring.
ReplyDeleteHi! This is such an awesome initiative! Well in the UK we don't celebrate Thanksgiving so the book I'm reading at the moment is James Dashner's 'The Maze Runner' :)
ReplyDeleteI love sweet potatoes. Thanks for the contest.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is mashed potatoes and gravy!
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm reading Into the Dark by Gena Showalter. I just recently started her LOTU books and I'm just devouring them lol
ReplyDeletefaefever25 at hotmail dot com
I absolutely love my mom's yams, with brown sugar and pecans on the top!! I also make a pot of red chili to put on our turkey and mashed potatoes. Yum! My in-laws think that that is strange, but oh well. It's what I grew up with and my hubby loves it too!
ReplyDeleteMashed potato's and gravy with turkey on top!
ReplyDeleteMalissa.petree(at)gmail.com
Stuffing made with sausage. Pumpkin pie w/ lots of whipped cream.

ReplyDeletenatcleary(at)gmail(dot)com

During Thanksgiving, I am obsessed with the mashed potatoes my mother makes. I think I shoot glares at anyone who touches the mashed potatoes bowl... I'm only joking, but really. I am a fan of mashed potatoes. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm Canadian so we celebrated Thanksgiving last month. I have to say that my favourite dish is baked sweet potatoes. Umm...sweet potatoes slathered in sugar and butter is healthy right? I mean, its a veggie....

ReplyDeleteMy favorite dish has to be my cousin's Cheesy Mac n' Cheese. I know it's not a traditional dish, but it is at our table. Anyway, my cousin doesn't make it offten, but when he does, it's the best.
ReplyDelete:D

I'm also giving aiudiobooks a try with White Cat by Holly Black.
Sarah Bibi Setar
I'm reading City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare right now.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about Thanksgiving, but if I had to pick just one thing (not counting dessert), it would be stuffing, especially the way my mother makes it. She always dices apples into it and it just tastes delicious!
ReplyDeleteCurrently I'm reading Eve by Anna Carey. Great book :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Echoes by Melinda Metz.
ReplyDeleteaikychien at yahoo dot com
I'm totally a non-traditional kind of gal, and that goes for my holiday fare. We never did the whole turkey-stuffing-cranberry sauce thing, but would make lasagna or order chinese. So, this year, I'm continuing the tradition and doing a seafood gumbo!
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
Lori
My favorite dish to eat is the Cranberry sauce I eat so much of it on Thanksgiving. When it's all gone everyone knows who to blame lol
ReplyDeleteMy favorite dish is something like cranberry relish in lemon jello. Basically minced whole orange (with peel, no seeds), celery, walnuts, cranberries mixed in jello and let set. It is weird, and apparently an acquired taste, but that just means more for the few who like it!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima, and I'm loving it so far! :)
ReplyDeletetirachii(at)yahoo(dot)com
pie, obviously. ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE SWEET POTATO PIE
