Welcome to Second Hand Saturday!
In an attempt to clear our bookshelves, and pass on great used books to ourstalkersfollowers, Amy, Kit, Abigaile, Austin and I have decided to hold weekly giveaways of some of the books on our bookshelves! Every Saturday, we will post the books available, and the following Saturday, we will announce the winner and our next challenge. The winner will get to choose a book from the list and we will ship it to that lucky person! Each week we will have a different challenge to complete.
This Week's Question:
If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be?
And this week's winner is...
Lieder Madchen
Email me at Readingteen1(at)gmail.com with your book choice. Please put "winner" in the subject line. You have one week to claim your prize!

Aahhh...this is easy! I would love to visit Ireland and Scotland. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit Australia and just get lost in all the sexy accents!
ReplyDeleteI would honestly love to visit Egypt. I would rather go back in time to Ancient Egypt but I'll still go to modern day Egypt ;)

I'd love to visit Ancient Egypt, but since that's impossible, I think I'll pick California or Norway? Haha. Never really thought of this before.:/ Thanks for another great giveaway!

I'd love to go visit Mexico because my family lives there, and every time I go there's so much more to see.
ReplyDeleteI'd also love to go to Greece and walk along the temples and the ocean.

I've love to visit US. I have this dream of being in Times Square on New Year's Eve. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to England and see the countryside, some castles and Stonehedge.
ReplyDeleteI started thinking about my answer to this question more literally, like where in this world in 2012 would I like to visit. Then read some of the answers, and realized, that I hadn't even considered "other" worlds. I'm working my way through Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan, and I think I would like to visit that world. Where gods and demigods exist concurrently with the modern world. Sounds like it could be fun! As long as I could see through the mist!
ReplyDeleteI would like Fat Vampire by Adam Rex!
Thanks for the giveaway!

new york :))))
ReplyDeleteWhere in this world I would go is Australia. I had to do a huge project on it for a midterm exam, and I put so much time and effort into planning the flight, the hostels, the attractions, the restaurants(I even planned what I would eat there! It's amazing what's online!), and I since I even got the transportation down to the taxi company, I really want to go on my trip now!
ReplyDeleteWhere in another world I would go is a tie between Tortall, in Terrier and Bloodhound, and Borderland as in Welcome to Bordertown. I seriously would love to go there!
I would love to go to Italy. or the mountains. they are both so beautiful
ReplyDeleteIf I could go anywhere it would probably be to Thailand. My mother is from Thailand and I have never been there. I would love to go and learn about the culture. I have seen pictures and it looks beautiful. I would also love to go to London, I have always wanted to go there.
ReplyDeleteFictional: Hogwarts. Real: UK
ReplyDeleteThat's easy.
ReplyDeleteDisneyland! No one's too old for Disneyland!
I'd visit London and Russia.
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit Australia or New Zealand; and I'd love to go back to germany!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

I'd go to New Zealand. It's the farthest place that I can go from where I live without leaving the Earth:) And I've wanted to visit it ever since seeing the Lord of the Rings movies.
ReplyDeleteEasily done: Rhode Island because I did a project on it in the 5th grade and have loved it ever since. And it's very close to my favorite Aunt-who's-not-really-my-aunt.
ReplyDeleteNot so easy: Greece because I love the architecture and the feeling and the history. Plus I read about it in a Christopher Pike book and STILL want to go lol.
Never Gonna Happen: Hogwarts because duh, Hogwarts.
I would love to go to New Zealand!
ReplyDeleteEurope. I want to leave this Continent of North America, for the first time. That's just be amazing! And there's so much history there! It'd be amazing to see!
ReplyDeleteEasy peasy - Ireland.
ReplyDeleteI've always dreamed of visiting three countries: England, Italy, and Sweden.
ReplyDeleteleah49 (at) gmail (dot) com
Hmm....if I could visit anyplace in the world...it'd be Tuscan, Italy. Why? Well, after reading Lisa Bergren's River of Time series, I am DYING to experience that place and just...see what it's like! Sounds like there is SO much history over there. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting these fun giveaways! Catching Fire sounds like a great "catch" if I won. :-)
agirlslegacy(at)yahoo(dot)com
New Zealand to see if I can find some elves or hobbits to hang out with.
ReplyDeleteParis. No question about it.
ReplyDeleteIRELAND & SCOTLAND, most definitely. I've been fascinated with their lore and beauty for years.
ReplyDeleteI was going to write a clever answer about going to Anywhere, *insertstatehere*. But Cha-Cha informs me there is no city (in the USA, at least) called Anywhere.
ReplyDelete*huddles in corner* My wit has been foiled by reality, yet again.
In which case, it's kind of a tie between New Zealand, Australia, Ireland... And lots of countries in Europe, I suppose. I guess you didn't specify that we had to pick ONE place, eh? ;)
Israel. :-)
ReplyDeleteDISNEYLAND PARIS! Yes, I am a child. :D
ReplyDeletexjustakidx(at)hotmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Prince Edward Island...that is where Anne of Green Gables is from, and it is very beautiful there=)
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit St. Petersburg or France!
ReplyDeleteThis is tricky, but either Israel, France, England, or Amsterdam. Maine's up there, too.
ReplyDeleteI would love to Florida. I live in a very cold and rainy place, so it would be a nice change.
ReplyDelete~Lioness
I have always wanted to go to Venice.
ReplyDeletethegirlonfire27 at gmail dot com
Hmm, definitely France. Or Japan. Or Greece. I took French at my school (until they got rid of the higher level courses), and I love anime and ancient Greek mythology, so they're pretty much my top places to visit.
ReplyDeleteHm... I would say Greece, Rome, or Ireland. Greece and Rome because I love the mythology that is wrapped around them and to see the original architecture that they bothe have. Ireland because it's a place that I've always associated with elves and fairies because of stories and movies that i heard/watched when I was a kid, thanks to my gran.
ReplyDeleteENGLAND :)
ReplyDeleteNew Zealand!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to take the train ride on the west coast of Scotland!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Switzerland because that's where my two favourite actors from my favourite movie went in that movie...does that make sense?!?! Oh and the chocolate...yummmmmmmmy!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the pyramids.
ReplyDeleteFinland and Germany.
