Hmmm... I would probably change the fact that at the end of Bloodrose all of the Guardians completely became wolves.
ReplyDeleteIt just bugged me because it was Calla's story and we never really got her ending.
Anyways, thanks for the giveaway :)
I would change Harry Potters ending so that he would ended up with Hermoine instead of Ginny.
ReplyDeleteI would change Harry Potters ending so that he would ended up with Hermoine instead of Ginny.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, yes!! Me too!!!
DeleteI would change the whole ending of The Lovey Bones. It was SUCH a great book until the whole 'taking over the body to say goodbye' thing.
ReplyDeleteThat just ruined the book for me! :(
I would change the ending of Breaking Dawn and have an actual fight=)
ReplyDeleteI agree with ansindt! I would have liked to see an epic fight.
ReplyDeleteThe end of Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma was the most heartbreaking for me. I don't know if I would chance it, because I don't think another ending would've worked for the book, but still, I cried a river...:(
ReplyDeleteI'd change The Guardian's Wildchild by Feather Stone. Can I say the most epic of spoilers? The heroine died. She freaking died!! Gosh, you don't know how pissed I was when I read that part.-.- Haha, anyway, thanks for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI want to read a series that ends each book in a satisfactory manner, so that if I don't read the next I'm okay. I'm reading more stand alones because of the frustration.
ReplyDeleteI still think that Gone With the Wind is one of the most romantic novels ever written. I would love to change the ending so that Scarlett and Rhett get together.
ReplyDeleteOk, you totally have to read "Scarlett" by Alexandra Ripley - she did an amazing job of writing the sequel! The estate of Margaret Mitchell took like 100's of submissions of the first chapter and book synopsis & chose who would write it - it was SOOOO good!
DeleteI would change the end of Harry Potter so that there wouldn't BE a 19 years later chapter. Call me crazy but I would also put Harry and Luna together :D
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of Delirium so that there never would have been a book called Pandemonium. I won't read it because of the stupid love triangle that does NOT need to be in there!! (Pissed off about it) (A) So, yeah, I would change the ending of Delirium ;)
ReplyDeleteLove, Carina

ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of A CHILD CALLED "IT." Given how she tormented poor David(the author), his mother(or rather his monster) got off way too easy.
ReplyDeleteOmg. My first choice is Graceling. I haven't read Fire, and I know it actually fits pretty well and all of that stuff, but when you find out Po went blind..My heart broke! I was so upset. I'm not sure if Fire plays into it or anything as I haven't read so much as the description but..Po!!
ReplyDeleteI would change The Deathly Hallows and take out that stupid epilogue.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter ending. Ginny? You kidding me? I want Harry and Hermoine.
ReplyDeleteAnd that epilogue was just... to much. A pricless book series, shouldnt end like that. With 2 pages of what happens in the next 20 years.. That deserves more pages and maybe a new book, i don't know. lol
:)
It might be a cheat, but I'd change almost the entire last book of the Harry Potter series. The brought-back-to-life saviour plot ending just seemed way too cheesy for such a good series.
ReplyDeleteAuthors write endings for a reason, so none!
ReplyDeleteI would change For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison so a certain someone didn't die. D:
ReplyDeleteI would leave Tonks and Remus alive at the end of Harry Potter!
ReplyDeleteI would exercise cutting powers and delete the epilogue section of Harry Potter. Just cheesy and not necessary.
ReplyDeleteI would change the end of Breaking Dawn in the Twilight series. Other people probably liked it, but I really didn't. I guess I didn't like the whole last book in general.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that no one's mentioned Mockingjay yet! Come on, people! I had an emotional meltdown when Prim died, so I would definitely change that. That part alone ruined the whole trilogy for me.
ReplyDeleteI'd change the end of Breaking Dawn. I'd just end it at the end of Jacob's 'book', because what comes after that is a completely different story, like a spin-off series or something.
ReplyDeleteOr at least I'd have more fights and victims in the third part.
I'd cut not only the end of Breaking Dawn but the whole book!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the ending to Mockingjay since it felt awkward since Katniss said that she didn't want kids but then BAM she had two kids :[
ReplyDeleteEmaiL: puieread at yahoo dot com
I would change the end to Mockingjay, because it was really somewhat awkward that she had kids while still being somewhat depressed...
ReplyDeleteI agree with bookrockgoddess I always wanted Harry to end up with Hermoine instead of Ginny.
ReplyDeleteI'd change the end of Mockingjay and probably the whole book. It was pretty disappointing for me. :D
ReplyDeleteNone.
ReplyDeletenatasha_donohoo_8@hotmail.com
I would change the ending of Bloodrose. It was a real disappointment and I felt it was very unfair for certain characters involved.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't change the ending to any book that I can think of. I may not always be happy with the way a book ends, but it's not up to me to decide the ending.
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of the book My Sisters Keeper. I don't want to spoil it, but I don't want anyone to die that did. Great book by the way. A definate tear jerker.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway of books, would love to win.

The only one that comes to mind is the Time Travelers Wife. I wish it had ended on a happier note.

ReplyDelete....first thing that came to mind was the ending of the Harry Potter books XD I won't say what I would changed because I will be hunted down, but there are a few things I would have liked to change about the way that ended.

ReplyDeleteI would change the end of Harry Potter so that there is no confusion. Harry doesn't name his son Albus Severus and does not say Snape was PROBABLY one of the bravest men he ever knew. He doesn't say anything about Snape at all.
ReplyDeleteI would change the end of the Strange Angels series by Lili St Crow. She has to choose a guy. Don't leave an open ended series.
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending to The Future of Us i mean it just seemed rushed to me
ReplyDeleteisa_mar_91@yahoo.com
I love love love Jodi Picoult but it drive me nuts that she often has dramatic twists at the end of her books that change absolutely everything!
ReplyDeletenone
ReplyDeleteI would love to change the ending of Mockingjay (The Hunger Games trilogy). To me the ending seemed abrupt, and it left me wondering what exactly happened to other characters (like Gale). The author only gave a very vague explanation of what happened to them and the whole ending.
ReplyDeletePossibly Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, but I keep fluctuating whether I liked the ending or think it should have had more closure.
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of Across the Universe so there wouldn't have to be a second book. I thought the first one was so good I was disappointed that Beth Revis didn't leave it as a stand-alone book. I would have wanted it to be longer instead.
ReplyDeleteI have to say none because the only endings that I would rewrite for books would be all of the books I hated, like Mockingjay. -_- Loved the Hunger Games, Catching Fire was okay, but the third one just peeved me off.
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of Hourglass by Claudia Gray! I love the first two books but after that horrible mix of things! Grrrr! The book #3 and #4 where a waste of timeeee! I hated it!
ReplyDeleteThe ending of HP 6! I don't want Dumbledore to be dead! *sob*
ReplyDeleteI would change almost everything about Breaking Dawn. But mostly Jacob's imprinting thing. I'm glad that I'm not the only one not happy with this book :)
ReplyDeleteI would change the ending of Mockingjay. Was the whole point of that book to make everything Katniss did during the trilogy completely useless?
ReplyDeleteI might change the end of The Singing by Alison Croggon, but only a tiny bit because I think Mairead and Cadvan should have married eventually. :)
ReplyDeleteI would not change a thing about any ending. I like the HEA and I also like when things are more realilistic and dont work out.
ReplyDeleteI would totally change the ending of Suzanne Collins "Gregor the Overlander" series! Talk about unfinished, sad and anti-climactic...and Mockingjay wasn't much better...kinda scared to see what she writes next :-(
ReplyDeleteI would choose the end of MockingJay by Suzanne Collins. I feel like some of the things that happened negated major earlier plot points.
ReplyDelete
