Giveaway: 172 Hours on the Moon

We ended up with an extra copy of 172 Hours on the Moon, so we thought we'd share it with our peeps!  If you'd like to win, just enter below!

It's been decades since anyone set foot on the moon. Now three ordinary teenagers, the winners of NASA's unprecedented, worldwide lottery, are about to become the first young people in space--and change their lives forever.

Mia, from Norway, hopes this will be her punk band's ticket to fame and fortune.

Midori believes it's her way out of her restrained life in Japan.

Antoine, from France, just wants to get as far away from his ex-girlfriend as possible.

It's the opportunity of a lifetime, but little do the teenagers know that something sinister is waiting for them on the desolate surface of the moon. And in the black vacuum of space... no one is coming to save them.

In this chilling adventure set in the most brutal landscape known to man, highly acclaimed Norwegian novelist Johan Harstad creates a vivid and frightening world of possibilities we can only hope never come true.

  4. Yes and no...it would be the opportunityof a lifetime but I think getting there would be the scary part!! Still it would be pretty cool...as long as there's nothing creaky and potentially Traci hurting!!! Great giveaway...thanks for the opportunity!!!

  5. I would love to go to the moon!!

  6. Definately i would go to the moon!!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. If there was no danger of anything going wrong...then yes!

    ReplyDelete
  8. YES. An astronaut once came to our school and he told us that in space, liquid forms round blobs and just float around, so there would be blobs of juice floating.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No way. I would totally freak out. I'm already terrified of heights so it would be horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm not sure how I feel about going to the moon...I think I'd rather read about it :)

    ReplyDelete
  11. YES!!! I would I think it could be so super cool! :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. To be honest, yes and no, I would love to visit another planet, but no because I don't want to be stranded on a place where there's no way to get home.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wouldn't that be amazing, to set foot on a non-terrestrial surface?!?
But ... I'm such a chicken so probably no ;P

    ReplyDelete
  14. I would only if I could still go back to earth safely! :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. HELL YEA I WOULD GO! Even if it ended up being the last thing I did, at least I could say I'd done it (unless I died...). But it still seems like such an impossible thing nowadays considering so few people are allowed or even qualified to do it. And this book makes me super excited about space travel because it's not all glory and happiness and yay look at me I'm on the moon. SHIT GETS REAL. I'm interested in seeing what happens to them!!

    Thanks for this giveaway!!!

  16. Honestly I have never wanted to travel to outer space. It seems exciting but really dangerous plus I feel that I would probably be sick the whole time

    ReplyDelete
  17. Nope, nope, nope. Not ever! I'm terrified of flying in the air, let alone through space. Nope, I'll let other brave little souls go there for me!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  34. No. LOL I like what I know. lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. If i had the chance, no I don't think I'd go to the moon. There are tons of other places/planets that I would love to visit, but the moon just seems to dark and desolate to me. Plus the fact that I am claustrophobic and hate flying, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  36. If I was sure it was safe and if I could bring my friends and family and all my books then yes probably!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Of course so um ... when can I go??? When, when, when?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I would love to go too the moon!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I think I would.. If technology has improved to where a trip to the moon is as comfortable as a trip to France lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. I wouldn't go to the moon. But I really want to read this book. It sounds very good. Tore923@aol.com

  45. Not sure I'd actually want to stop on the moon for a few days, but a quick trip through space would be nice.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Mmm, I don't think so. D:
I've always been afraid of the space so a travel to the moon is not exactly on the list of things I would want to do. :)
By the way, it should be a fantastic experience!
    Thank you for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I would go to the moon for sure- what an opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yes, that would be very interesting, and a bunch of fun to go somewhere very few people have gone.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Eh, I guess just to see it and walk on it once. I don't think I'd ever have a really great drive to go, though.

    ReplyDelete
  52. no i have absolutely no interest in going to the moon. being stuck in that claustrophobic spaceship on the way there and back would not be fun.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yes! I would be the first one on the spaceship!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yes! Would definitely want to go to the moon, but be able to come back! :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. I would probably die of excitement but HELL YES! (Astrid)

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't know. It sounds exciting but I would feel so helpless out there if anything went wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  60. The only way I would go to the moon (or anywhere like that, actually) is if it was a regular practice. Some time in the future, if people go there often as vacations or something. I don't think I could handle that sort of unknown..
    Book sounds awesome, though!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Heck yeah I'd go to the moon if I had the chance!! I think it would be an awesome adventure, and something you could talk about for the rest of your life :) I always try to be open to new experiences and that would definitely count as a big one!

    ReplyDelete
  62. no i would not. i think i would be totally terrified of going into space. i don't even like flying in a plane. i think it would be amazing but not for me.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes! I definitely would! I mean, it would be so scary, but it would be so worth it! What an experience that would be!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think I would go. It would be an adventure of a life time. It would be interesting to see the mountains in the craters on the moon that I can only see through a telescope now.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I would move to the moon! What an adventure that would be! :')

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'll just stay here on good old terra firma!

    ReplyDelete
  69. No I dont think that I would go to the moon... I think the initial thrill would be great but then it would just be a whole lot of boring!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I would like a free book but as for going to the moon, no thanks. I will enjoy the moon as God intended from the comfort of my backyard, thank you very much!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Are you kidding? sounds like fun :)

    ReplyDelete
  72. if you asked me that question years ago, i'd surely go. but now that im 22, uhhmmm, i'd say "NO!" hahahah too chicken!

    ReplyDelete
  73. If I didn't have to spend months and months traveling there, if there was some kind of teletransportation device, I definitely would! Otherwise, I don't think I'd make it x)
