I don't know.. Really. Maybe Harry Potter 2 book. I read it when it was summer!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely P&P, I reread it almost every summer. theres something special about reading it outside in the sunshine where I can pretend I'm a Bennett sister.
ReplyDeleteElla Enchanted! I have reread it so many times!
ReplyDeleteMine would be Divergent :)
ReplyDeleteI love books where I get lost in the world the author created. I think I would go with something like Divergent or Hunger Games as a fun summer read.
ReplyDeleteMy choice would be Divergent :) It is the best read. <3 But also Graceling :D Love them both so much.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have specific summer reads. I read what I want in the summer because I wasn't able to all year round, or I finish those books I only got halfway through.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer read last year was A Great and Terribly Beauty by Libba Bray. I read all 3 books in like a week!
ReplyDeleteDiana Peterfreund's Secret Society series.
ReplyDeleteI haven't entered this giveaway in awhile for some reason. I'll have to checkout dream factory. Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Viguie is a fun light summer read.
ReplyDelete+JMJ+
ReplyDeleteThis might sound weird, but my favourite summer read is Sixth Grade Secrets by Louis Sachar, which is set during a school year and ends right before summer! =P But it's a whole lot of fun and seems to have the same magic essence you'd find in real summer-set stories . . . like the episodes of Phineas and Ferb. LOL!
(All together now! "There's 104 days of summer vacation/ And school comes along just to end it/ So the annual problem for our generation/ Is finding a good way to spend it . . .")
Sixteenth Summer. I didn't like the ending too much, but the rest of the book was perfect for a summer read!
ReplyDeleteAnything by Stephanie Perkins, her books are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe Summer I Turned Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI really loved the Summer series by Jenny Han! Also anything by John Green are great summer novels to read!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the Summer series by Jenny Han.....LOVE!!!!
ReplyDeletehmm, tough choice. I'd say the Iron King because of the fairies and summer court. Makes me want to go out into the woods and get lost; although, I don't think I'd find anything remotely as cool as the wildwood.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say the iron fey series because its the only thing I can think of that reminds me of summer!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my summer books for this year will be rereading the House of Night books and reading The Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to read Linger and Forever by Maggie Steifvator. I loved the first book Shiver and just started Linger but will have to find Forever.
ReplyDeleteSecrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas! I love her Wallflower series!!
ReplyDeleteMystic River was a good summer read. It was so suspenseful I didn't have to worry about not putting it down because I had the time to not put it down!!!!
ReplyDeleteAn oldie, but goodie, To Kill a Mockingbird. My favorite!

Excellent choice!
DeleteI think Harry Potter. I've read it so many times I no longer feel rushed to finish it so it has become a nice relaxing read to lose myself in.

Hmm, I don't really read things seasonally. Maybe Kristin Cashore's books, since I think I've read them every summer since I discovered them!
ReplyDeleteArgh...some will hate me but I actually reread all Twilight books in the summer...and since we have 2 summer vacations in my country... one on April and the other one on August :D it's become a kind of custom :D
ReplyDeleteTera Lynn Childs' FINN series are a fun summer read as is Amy Plums DIE FOR ME. LOVE those books!
ReplyDeleteProbably the twilight series. Love them and have read them farrr too many times :)
ReplyDeleteI love A Summer to Die by Lois Lowry=)
ReplyDeleteLock and Key by Sarah Dessen.
ReplyDeleteHas to be DIVERGENT.
ReplyDeleteSummer reads? Anna and the French Kiss, or another awesome contemporary (Lola, Saving June, Prom & Prejudice...), of course!
ReplyDeleteI don't have specific choice of book for summer. But i always reread Enid Blyton's and Agatha Christie's books at least once in a year. My friends said that i'm weird reread their books over and over again in my age now :)
ReplyDeletekris.lilis[at]yahoo[dot]com
So many good titles, I'm not sure what I'd choose. It would have to be a spur of the moment choice.
ReplyDeleteAccidentally hit publish before I could put my email! jesmck at yahoo dot come
DeleteMy favorite summer read is the Twilight series. Thanks for the giveaway. Please enter me.
ReplyDeleteI love to re-read the Harry Potter series in the summer, especially book 5, as it starts with a hot summer too. Also, for some reason, I like reading Star Trek novels in the summer.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer read is definitely the Summer books by Jenny Han. It's one of my favorite series!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer read would probably have to be The Last Song. :)
ReplyDelete-JennyC
My favorite summer read was i am number four. This is my favorite summer read because it has a lot of action and excitement -spencer c
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer read is anything by Stephen King or Charlaine Harris (depending on my mood, lol). Can't wait to read Deadlocked!
ReplyDeleteI have such a great memory of reading Harry Potter number 5 the summer it came out. I had pre-ordered it from Amazon and read it on our patio while my 2 oldest children swam in their kiddie pool. It was so hot out and I just was so happy to have the long awaited book! I kept going inside and telling my husband parts of it, such as the dementors going after Dudley, Mrs. Fig knowing about magic, and Petunia's letter. What a great day, and book. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFor me is THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY by JENNY HAN. I read it like 3 years ago or something but was very good. It's an easy, relaxing read :) and very fun.
ReplyDeletexoxo
Twenty Boy Summer was a really good summer read.
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to re read the blue blood series and the mortal instruments
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to re read the blue blood series and the mortal instruments
ReplyDeleteSummer read... well I guess I'd go with "The Boys Next Door"/"Forever Summer" combo book by Jennifer Echols. Loved it. Funny and real as always.
ReplyDeleteI just sat here racking my brain for a fun summer read and realized I don't have one. I even looked at my goodreads list, lol. This summer I do plan to catch up on a ton of reading. I also think I'm going to re-read The Hollows books.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any summer book. Nevertheless, if I have to pick one, I will choose The Year of Secret Assignments. It does not paticularly set in summer. Yet, it's fun and makes me smile that would be a perfect read in summer.
ReplyDeleteAnna and the French Kiss or The Summer I Turned Pretty.
ReplyDeleteI've re-read Pride and Prejudice every summer for years. Ella Enchanted is another that I tend to pick up for some lazy summer reading.
