MARY is perpetually haunted by a traumatic event from years past, and the boy who’s responsible has yet to get what’s coming to him.
None of the girls can act on their revenge fantasies alone without being suspected. But together…anything is possible .
With an unlikely alliance in place, there will be no more "I wish I’d said…" or "If I could go back and do things differently..." These girls will show Jar Island that revenge is a dish best enjoyed together.

Burn for Burn sounds good, like the fact that each girl will have distinct voice for themselves. I love when audiobooks have more than one narrator for all the characters it offers a better preservative I think to understand multiple POVs. Thanks for the chance at this great giveaway!! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I like this narrator. The voice is really deep and kinda quiet.
I think Julie is right, the narrator is a little to soft spoken. I'm having trouble getting into it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I like this reader very much, but I think that I would get used to listening to her. Some readers bother me at first, but I end up loving them after I listen for a while. This book sounds really great.
ReplyDeleteThe reader was phenomenal! Her voice was right on with the character. She does sound very nasally though.
ReplyDeleteI like the reader for this audiobook - she has such a sweet, cute voice!
ReplyDeleteThis narrator has a very soft voice, almost too soft too get my interest. I think this would be a good one to fall asleep too. Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteI hasn't listened to many books on tape. I think this is the first one I've listened to with a woman narrator. She didn't pull me in from the get go. I like her but i don't. Some things her expression is awesome and other time i just notice how she's pronunciating everything. I'm sure kind get used to it the longer i listen.
ReplyDeleteThe reader really does sound like a teenage girl, with a touch of melancholy.
ReplyDeleteI love how Burn for Burn uses 3 different narrators.
ReplyDeleteI think the excerpt sounds great! Exciting giveaway! I just recently got an audio book app on my tablet and can't wait to try it out!!
ReplyDeleteGreat excerpt. I have just gotten into audio books. I like the reader! Sounds great. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love listening to audio books, I just started reading Burn For Burn, and I love it so far! :D
ReplyDeleteIt definitely sounds like a teen is reading.
ReplyDeleteThis one looks interesting too! I love audiobooks SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteNot a big fan of this reader.....she sounds a little robotic to me.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure about this reader. A little monotone.
ReplyDeleteI think she sounds exactly the way a teenage girl sounds.
ReplyDeleteI actually like this quite a lot! The story itself's intriguing, and I can definitely imagine the reader's voice with the character. If I had the money to buy an audio, I'd spend it on this.
ReplyDeleteI haven't listened to an audiobook yet but I think I might like it depending on the voice.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to read this book, but the audio sounds great. I think I could get used to this narrator. I also like books with multiple narrators.
