The eyes never lie. No one’s eyes are darker than Eryx’s. Not even the Devil’s. When Jax and Sasha first see Jordan Ellis, they know she is no ordinary teenager. She’s the daughter of the president, after all, but she’s also Anabo — a descendant of Eve.

What they don’t know is that Eryx plans to kidnap Jordan and force President Ellis to pledge his soul. If Eryx’s plot succeeds, the consequences would be catastrophic.

But the Mephisto brothers do know about Jordan’s secret identity. And for one of them, she could be the match that leads to his soul’s salvation.

Now it’s a desperate race against time to save Jordan and prevent Eryx’s haunting eyes from discovering her true identity.

A thrilling story of romance, danger, and intrigue, The Mephisto Kiss continues the marvelous mythology that began in The Mephisto Covenant.

The Mephisto Covenant was a very enjoyable read. I knew I would probably enjoy the sequel, The Mephisto Kiss as well. Trinity Faegen did not disappoint, as I expected. Just like The Mephisto Covenant, I read it's sequel in record time, I just could not put them down. I love the chemistry between the characters, and the romance is always steamy hot. The main bad guy Eryx, the son of Hell, is evil and sinister. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Eryx wants a son, someone to continue his evil plan. A son to become immortal and more powerful than any other.

When Key (one of the Mephisto) realizes that Jordan has been kidnapped, that Eryx is behind it, he stops at nothing to get her back, for you see, Jordan is Anabo. Jordan is also the President of the United State's daughter. She is very important all around.  There is only one Anabo for each Mephisto, so you can see why Key is determined to rescue and win Jordan heart.

I think the reason why I like this series so much, is that pretty much from the very beginning, you know which Mephisto is going to win an Anabo heart. So the whole book is about a guy learning to be a rescuer, a romantic, and figure out what a girl needs/wants. The whole time I'm reading Trinity's books, I'm always smiling because I'm watching an immortal, that has been alive for a thousand years, try a win a girls heart! Remember, there is only one Anabo for each Mephisto.

The only reason I gave this book four chess pieces in the end, is because I was expecting a much bigger fight between the Mephisto and evil Eryx. I was left unsatisfied. I didn't feel like there was much climax in the end. Maybe, Trinity Feagen is saving that for the last book in the series.
