CINDER Paperback Blog Tour: A Chat with Cinder & Giveaway

Hey all!  Today we get to be a part of the amazing CINDER paperback blog tour, celebrating the release of CINDER in paperback, and preparing for the release of book 2, SCARLET.  For those who don't know, The Lunar Chronicles are fairy tale retellings, set in the future, with very interesting twists.  Make sure you check out Reagan's reviews of CINDER and SCARLET, but for now, here's a little more about Cinder, and an awesome giveaway!

Cinder

Linh Cinder, sixteen-years-old, is cyborg. With 36.28% of her body having been replaced by
cybernetic components, she’s considered unnatural at best, a danger to society at worst.

A second-class citizen and the legal property of her adoptive stepmother Adri, Cinder had taken
to working as a mechanic at the New Beijing market, but her life took a turn weeks before the
annual ball when Peony, her younger stepsister and only human friend, contracted letumosis—
the incurable disease that’s been ravishing Earth for over a decade. This set Cinder’s life on a
collision course with the handsome Prince Kai, the cryptic Dr. Erland, and the cruel Lunar Queen
Levana, who is determined to see Cinder dead so she can steal the prince’s heart for herself.

Now Cinder is on the run from the law. She must stay one step ahead of Levana and her mind-
controlling minions while trying to keep Kai and the entire planet out of a war that could signal
the end of human freedom.

    1. SHUT UP!! That is SO COOL!! Well....probably not for you, but I think it's awesome! What an amazing story!

  2. I don't think I would want to be a cyborg, but then I'm not dying right now, so I might change my mind.

  3. Vyborg of course! hy not? Super cool lieing detectability? Awesooome

    ReplyDelete
  4. I would not want to die. I would prefer the cyborg because you are still atleast still kind of alive. You would also be able to hurt those who hurt you.

    ReplyDelete
  5. As long as my brain was still me and not some computer, I'd choose the cyborg. If my brain just became like an AI computer, let me die.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I have been wanting to read this book forever!

I am going to be a weird one and say I would probably rather die than become a cyborg. That kind of creeps me out to think of being me but not me....

    ReplyDelete
  7. I need to read the books to answer!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Heck yes to cyborg---reminds me of BSG and six :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Cyborg! Is there really a choice?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Depends on the degree of cyborg-ness that I would end up with, but I'd probably choose to be a cyborg.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'd rather be a cyborg. Mostly due to my faith, such a huge change in what makes me "me" would kind of go against what I believe in! Of course I think the idea of cyborgs is so interesting, and would hope people close to me may choose that so we could still be alive together!

    That was a weird response.

    ReplyDelete
  12. For me I would choose to be a cyborg depending on the degree of how much I will become a cyborg.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wouldn't it just be different forms of dying? I mean, isn't a cyborg a robot and I am a human so it wouldn't be me, just a version of something close to me

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hmm. Tough question, but I think I'd choose to be a cyborg. :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'd definitely become a cyborg b/c then I'd still be alive! :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'd definitely go for cyborg. That wouldn't even be a choice for me.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Cyborg.. but would there be others that are cyborg too? If not i would be unique!! I havent read the book yet so i dont know.. thanks for the giveaway!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Cyborg... I mean, I would have internet connection in my head!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Cyborg, at least I would still be alive! And probably pretty strong too :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. If I was still me, you know, with my personality and memories and stuff, sure being a cyborg is better than being dead. But I wouldn't want to be a true robot lol.

    ReplyDelete
  21. A cyborg with thoughts and feelings sure but not a glorified robot. Thank you for the amazing giveaway and the chance to win!

  22. Probably a cyborg. I mean..I don't want to die...lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thank you for the giveaway. That's a tough choice, I might go cyborg if it would keep me near the people I cared about but if it was going to be the end for all of us soon, I might just buy out and be done. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. Haha definitely a cyborg wha what!
    Loie <3

  25. I think I'd choose the cyborg. At least it's something.

    ReplyDelete
  26. A cyborg! How cool to be able to do many things I can't do now!

    ReplyDelete
  27. It would depend on how much of a cyborg I would be.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Cyborg, I could be pretty bad ass :P

    ReplyDelete
  29. Cyborg, duh! Then I could have technological access and watch tv in my head :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Cyborg, most definitely. As long as it increases by chances of being a princess.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Cyborg, of course. Because that'd be beast.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Cyborg. Always strive to become better~

    ReplyDelete
  33. Cyborg. Even if it was considered a second class citizen.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I would want to become a cyborg!!! How cool would that be!? Is it just me that thinks that?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I would definitely become a cyborg. In fact, I might become one even if I weren't dying!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Cyborg, it would be very interesting to find out all the things you could do with your new modifications.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I would become a cyborg because one I wouldn't want to die if I knew there was a way I could keep living plus I think it would be fun to be a cyborg as long as I am still me.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Tough Q! I think I'd have to be on my death bed to answer!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Cyborg ...but I definitely would need to think about it ...perhaps dying at the time wouldn't seem like the less positive choice. But living as something other ...that would be kind of wishful :] Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  40. Cyborg...I mean as long as the parts being replaced didn't mess with the real me (i.e. my brain).

    ReplyDelete
  41. I mean, being a cyborg I assume wouldn't change my personality or values, so I wouldn't mind being one, so cyborg it is.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't have a death wish or anything, but I'd rather go on to the next life than be a cyborg. Heaven is a much better option!

    Laura

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think that I would become a cyborg I mean its hard to tell anyway and why die if you don't have to!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I would become a cyborg I wouldn't want to die
Thanks for the giveaway : )

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'd rather be a cyborg. And then I would fight for cyborg rights.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think that being a cyborg would be really cool!

    ReplyDelete
  47. That's a hard question! I'll be a cyborg because I'll want to live.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Cyborg, hands down. I don't really think anyone would take the option of death over cyborgism.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I would totally become a cyborg, not only would I still be alive but I would also be stronger than before.

    ReplyDelete
  50. That's a tough one...I really dont' know what I would choose.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Well, since I can honestly say I wouldn't want to die, Cyborg it would have to be!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Does being Cyborg mean you live forever? If so, then no. But just prolongs life? Yeah.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Cyborg?? I haven't read Cinder yet, so I'm not sure yet.
