In an attempt to clear our bookshelves, and pass on great used books to ourstalkersfollowers, we have decided to hold weekly giveaways of some of the books on our bookshelves! Every Saturday, we will post the books available, and the following Saturday, we will announce the winner and our next challenge. The winner will get to choose a book from the list and we will ship it to that lucky person! Each week we will have a different challenge to complete.
It seems like it's the end for a lot of different series that I've been invested in these past few years. I just finished The Seven Realms, which I keep talking about, and the Unearthly series, which was AWESOME. So, my question is, which series that you have completely FINISHED, is your favorite? Let's leave out Harry Potter, Twilight and The Hunger Games, to make it more interesting. Mine is, of course, The Seven Realms. Yeah, you should read it! :D
Just comment below to be entered!
And this week's winner is...

I love the Tiger's Curse Saga (although there is one more book coming out), but probably a series that I have finished would be the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Darkest Powers series, or the Forbidden Game series!
ReplyDeleteHmm...probably the Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Matched trilogy, and the Paranormalcy trilogy! Really enjoyed those three series. :)
ReplyDeleteOnce I finish Shades of Earth, I think that trilogy will claim this spot- such a wonderful series :)
ReplyDeleteI also love Vampire Academy.
Oh, I like so many series! I think my favorite one ever is Vampire Academy, but I also like Uglies Scott Westerfeld's Uglies and Bernard Cornwell's Grail Quest and Warlord Chronicles.
ReplyDeleteNot Harry Potter huh? Hmm.... I'd say the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I love Percy Jackson. :)
ReplyDeleteThe vampire academy series!
ReplyDeleteIf I can't choose The Hunger Games, then I'll go with the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield.
ReplyDelete+JMJ+
ReplyDeleteIt takes me forever to finish a series because I like knowing that there are still books to read in the future, so when I love a series, I tend to slow down rather than speed up. =) But I started Susan Cooper's Dark Is Rising sequence back in high school, and that gave me plenty of time to read all five books. So that's my answer! =)
I just finished reading the Hush, Hush series and love it. So sad to see it end. :) I would so recommend this series to everyone. ;)
ReplyDeleteExcluding the series' mentioned above, I would have to say the series that I fell madly in love with and completely finished has to be the Shifters series by Rachel Vincent. They were my introduction to Rachel Vincent and to were-cat shifters and I haven't been the same since. This is a series that I would re-read in an instant with no second thoughts. T'was amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe series Georgina Kincaid by Richelle Mead about a succubus. Very funny!
ReplyDeleteThe Vampire Diaries series *______*. Love Damon!! Just because I cant choose Twilight first.
ReplyDeleteI just finished The Casters Chronicles by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl last year. My heart broke and swelled and broke again.. It's definitely one that I envision myself rereading in the future! It's got romance, magic and unexpected-ness! <3
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm... I would love to say the Shade series by Jeri Smith-Ready, but she's making two novellas that tie in woth it, so it's not TOTALLY done... I guess I'll just have to go with Percy Jackson in that case. Love Greek Mythology, and Riordan did such a great job modernizing it. The characters were awesome, the action suspenseful, and overall it was just a great read!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I haven't fiished many series but One of the few I have finished was Vampire Academy and I loved it! There's a lot of vampire fiction out there but VA is definitely worth reading.
ReplyDeleteProbably The Dark Divine Trilogy by, Bree Despain, The Wings Series by, Aprilynne Pike, or The Faerie Path by, Frewin Jones. I also have to add the Clique series by, Lisi Harrison it was my favorite series growing up it sums up my middle school years.
ReplyDeleteI love the Obernewtyn series, though with 8 (or maybe more) books that aren't particularly easy to find in bookstores here, I haven't yet finished it.
ReplyDeleteOh geez, this is crazy hard for me...
ReplyDeleteI'll exculde some of the classics... Maybe The Homelanders series by Andrew Klavan. Or Ted Dekker's Circle series
I am in the middle of a lot of different series right now that I am going to be very sad to see end. However, out of the ones that have concluded, I suppose I would have to say Bree Dispain's 'The Dark Divine' trilogy, as someone else mentioned. With so many great ones to choose from lately, it will soon be even more difficult to decide on a favorite!
ReplyDeleteI found a series that I just loved! The first one is One Tuesday Morning and the second one is Beyond Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury. They are about 9/11, and were so good!
ReplyDeleteI realllyy love the Matched trilogy by Ally Condie!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Series of Unfortunate Events. Which reminds me, I need to do a reread soon...
ReplyDeleteI can't say I've actually finished a ton of series, because most I have like one book left to read but of the ones I have finished I'd have to say The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. I read them all in high school.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Seven Realms series as well. Matched and Vampire Academy were good too.
ReplyDeleteI havent had the chance to read many books- mostly the new-ish ones.. but 1 series i did finish was The Archers of Avalon- 1 Anew, 2 Awry, 3 Avow by Chelsea Fine.. I loved these books!!It was so interesting to see how the story unfolded!! I was hooked!!
ReplyDeleteGee, if you are going to exclude Harry Potter, Hunger Games and the Twilight series I guess that leaves "The Happy Hollister" series as my favs.
ReplyDeleteI love the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa!
ReplyDelete1. the iron king
2. the iron daughter
3. the iron queen
4. the iron knight
They're so good!
I haven't COMPLETELY finished any series except those you mentioned. That's just wrong somehow.
ReplyDeleteI was very sad to see the Vampire Academy series end I am looking forward to several other books that will finish off series off series this year as well like Sever, If I Should Die just to name a few.
ReplyDeleteI loved Patrick Ness' "Chaos Walking Theory" series. So good! Another series I really enjoyed was Rachel Hawkin' "Hex Hall" series.
ReplyDeletesnaugle81@gmail.com
Mine is definitely the Percy Jackson series! I adored it so much :D
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of starting on The Seven Realms soon, it sounds great!

I've read all the books in Night World series that have been published. I really liked them, and they look so familiar to someone who has read Twilight:) I think SM must have been inspired by these books. I've also read the Uglies series, except Shay's Story graphic novel. My favorite book is Extras.
ReplyDeleteI love the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series
ReplyDeleteOoh, so hard to choose! But I really love the Caster Chronicles :)
ReplyDeleteMine is the Nightshade trilogy by Andrea Cremer :D
ReplyDeleteThe Thirteen To Life series by Shannon Delany.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
I haven't finished a lot of series ._. I really liked The Ghost and the Goth series (:
ReplyDeleteThere are series that I only have to read the last book to finish it like the Hush Hush Saga by Becca Fitzpatrick and Immortals Series by Alyson Noel..
ReplyDeleteThe series I love are the Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead,I really plan to buy the whole set.. and the Evernight Academy Series by Claudia Gray.. these are first and second series I finished (that I could really remember)..:D
Loved the Across the Universe trilogy!
ReplyDeleteAnd a "real series" - John Marsden's Tomorrow series!
Percy Jackson or the Study series!
ReplyDeleteThe Wings series and definitely all of Maria Snyder's series.
ReplyDeleteThe Maximum Ride series. It was AMAZING! It was EPIC! It was sooo good. :D I love that series and I am sad that I finished it and that there'll be no more 'flock'. *sniff*
ReplyDeleteThe Curse Workers series by Holly Black
ReplyDeletePercy Jackson and I haven't finished these series yet but I'm loving the books so far - Leven Thumps, Artemis Fowl and Ally Condie's Matched series.
ReplyDeleteI've finished the Demonica series by Larissa Ione, The Dark Days series by Jocelyn Drake and the Chicago Stars series by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I'm in the middle of a lot of YA series and for some of them, I have the last book sitting on my shelf but am a little hesitant to pick it up and have the series over
