Giveaway & Review! MADE FOR YOU by Melissa Marr

Thrilling contemporary romantic suspense from New York Times bestselling author Melissa Marr. Eva Tilling wakes up in the hospital to discover an attempt has been made on her life. But who in her sleepy little North Carolina town could have hit her with their car? And why? Before she can consider the question, she finds that she's awoken with a strange new skill: the ability to foresee people's deaths when they touch her. While she is recovering from the hit-and-run, Nate, an old flame, reappears, and the two must traverse their rocky past as they figure out how to use Eva's power to keep her friends—and themselves—alive. Chilling twists, unrequited obsession, and high-stakes romance drive this southern Gothic, racy thriller—a story of small-town oppression and salvation. Melissa's fans and every YA reader will find its wild ride enthralling.

Um, hello amazing gif!! So, I am a huge, huge fan of Melissa Marr, as you can probably tell by my review of  Faery Tales and Nightmares, or Desert Tales, or it could be that one of Carnival of Souls, or possibly Graveminder, or the one where I basically recapped the entire Wicked Lovely series.  Yeah, I'm a little fanatic. But I've never read a contemp by her! So, I was just a bit excited. And a bit nervous...

Luckily, I needn't have worried. Made for You was an eerily thrilling story. Chapters varied between multiple characters' points of view, including the twisted viewpoint of the killer who is obsessed with Eva. It was creepy, and chilling, but it also had romance (NATE!), friendship, and a really fantastic story of a family, learning what it's like to be the family they should be.

If you liked The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting (if you haven't read it, you should immediately), or murder mysteries with a touch of the paranormal, I think you'll like this one too!

To share my excitement, I'm so happy to be able to give a copy of the book to one of you, thanks to Melissa's publicity team!  So, sign up, and then make sure you come back and tell me what you thought!

  15. I'm so very in love with Melissa Marr's writing. I picked up WL just as a cover buy the day it came out and she's been my hero ever since. (Side note: I met her once at a signing and just burst into super emotional tears and it was awkward and embarrassing for us all.)
