OH MY GOOOOOSSHHH!
I'M SO FREAKIN' EXCITED!
I'm sure you've noticed that a certain tote-ally amazing person has been hanging around the blog an awful lot. She's kind of amazing, and does some of the best reviews ever, and also makes some pretty rockin' tote bags. Yes, Becca fans, you may rejoice with me! She has somehow deemed this blog worthy of her awesomeness, and has agreed to be my new co-blogger!! Even after my completely awkward proposal, which went something like this:
Andye: So . . . if you're not, like, ya know, super busy or whatever, you could always, um, if you wanted, maybe, ya know, on the blog, and yeah. Wanna?
Becca: Uh . . .
Andye: If you don't want to that's completely fine, I mean, whatever, either way, totally up to you and everything. So yeah?
Becca: Are you trying to propose to me? Like co-blogging?
Andye: Well, if you're not too busy, THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING AND I WOULD LOVE YOU AND PET YOU AND SQUEEZE YOU AND CALL YOU GEORGE. um.
I'm slightly concerned she only said yes because she feared for her life, BUT IT'S TOO LATE NOW, SUCKAH!!
So, without further blabbering from me, I'd like to introduce you to someone you probably already know even better than you know me . . .
So this is my first time really writing an introduction post since I wrote one for my own blog over a year ago...I'm horrible at introducing myself, but luckily, I think a lot of you know me pretty well already.
I'm thrilled to announce that my favorite person ever (cough cough Andye cough) formally proposed to me. I said no to marriage, because I'm saving myself for Theo James, but I squealed, "YES!" to the co-blogger part of the proposal, because hello! I'd have to be crazy to say no to what I'm sure is going to be an amazing journey here on Reading Teen!
I've been Reviewing Andye's Books here and there since, I think, October, and there have also been some pretty popular tote giveaways hosted on here, but if you have missed those, this is my not-so-formal introduction..
My name is Becca! (or Becs) (and most recently, The Tote Lady)
I am from the great ol' state of Oklahoma, which is smack dab in the middle of the US. Yes, we have tornadoes all the time. No, it's not too incredibly scary unless they are big ones.
I spend the majority of my time reading, working, painting totes, and sleeping (in that order).
I usually write my reviews in letter format, or a letter to the book, which is super fun, and keeps reviewing interesting for me.
I am snarky, sarcastic, and sweet the majority of the time.
I love to push books onto people. If you need a book recommendation at any time, tweet me and I'll have a list for you!
I love meeting bookish people! Don't be afraid to holla at me anytime. Book people are my people, and I could talk about books 25/8.
Those are some not-so-secret facts about me. I'm not all that interesting, but I'll try to be as interesting as humanly possible each time I post on here! I'm looking forward to being around the Reading Teen site more and more, because I have always loved posting on here, and I adore Andye!
Before I go, I'll leave you with one last thing...
Pics of Andye and I at BEA15, where we got to meet for the first time! AH!
AND ALSO! Her proposal was so not awkward. I was completely thrilled, because I can now say someone proposed to me. Maybe in a different way than all my friends, but WHATEVS. They are the suckas! I'm the luckiest gal of all my friends now! :P
Oh, and if you want to stalk me or be new book buddies, here are all my links! (Seriously, I don't bite!)
